Orthopaedics is the speciality involved in the management of musculoskeletal conditions. That includes conditions of the bones and joints.
Non-surgical care is always our first line and Dr Sarah Metz offers a wide range of both non-surgical and surgical management options.

Foot and Ankle
Conditions - Bunions, lesser toe deformities, ganglions, mortons neuromas, arthritis, flat feet and high arches, achilles tendon pathology, instability and fractures.
Procedures - Bunion and lesser toe corrections, mortons neuroma excision, arthritis procedures (fusion), ankle stabilisation, ankle arthroscopy and trauma care.
Knee
Conditions - meniscal pathology, patellar tendon pathology, arthritis and trauma
Procedures - Knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair or meniscectomy, patellar tendon surgery, total knee replacement and fractures around the knee (femur, tibia, patella).
Upper Limb
Conditions - Carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, de quervains tenosynovitis, ganglions, tendon injuries, nailbed injuries and trauma (general trauma, lacerations and fractures).
Procedures - carpal tunnel decompression, de quervains release, tendon repairs, nailbed repairs and trauma management.
